Elevated By Alice is a black women owned nail studio located in Jingle Town in Oakland. We are striving to allow a diverse environment for beauty services for people of all races, genders and sexualities. The opportunity allows diversity amongst communities in the beauty industry to strive to provide services to those who may not feel comfortable in the conventional beauty studio style. Elevated By Alice strives to modernize the beauty industry and standards as it allows intersectionality within the lines of beauty and diversity. We are seeking funds in order to keep up with products to serve customers, rent, cleaning supplies and more. Additional funding helps us to relocate to a larger location and expand and hire those who want to work in the beauty industry. I currently have only one employee who rents a booth spot in my studios but I am looking to help get ahead on rent inorder to make the space available for clients and to potentially hire more people.
