Who We Are
NetWerk® is an inclusive community and platform that’s helping women break away from being underpaid and underemployed.
We fight for representation at the leadership level by creating access to practical resources, creative events, and teaming up with brands that share our mission.
Our goal is to help 1 million women get promoted by 2030.
What We Do
Our Founder
Jen Ngozi was underpaid and underemployed for years. As a first-generation immigrant from Nigeria with parents that didn’t work corporate jobs, she didn’t understand workplace etiquette and struggled early in her career.
Despite this, she was able to not only secure promotions. But have an award-winning career developing leadership programs across the country at Big 4 and Fortune 500 firms before launching NetWerk®.
Today Jen is a global speaker and has spoken at events with the United Nations Foundation and Vogue. Her career advice has been featured in Huffington Post, Business Insider, Martha Stewart, and more.
Representation In Leadership Matters
Traditional education isn’t preparing women to advance in their careers.
Especially women from underrepresented communities.
Educating a new generation of female leaders needs to happen beyond the classroom.
Our Impact
Since launching, we’ve reached over 450,000 women worldwide. Helping to increase their leadership skills, confidence, network, and paychecks.
In 2020, we surveyed participants that attended our workshop on building leadership skills. 97% reported feeling prepared to advocate for themselves at work as a result of the workshop.
