Oh so we're doing this now, are we?

Y'all are incredible.

76% to goal and we're still 2 days out from SquadCon.

We're about $1K away from the initial goal of $4,500.

I say initial because I went over on the budget for the custom neon sign (+$700)

But when you see the photos of this thing—WOW. It is going to make the space.

Yesterday I was at The Diana Initiative, where I provided gift cards for our programs as in-kind donations. It was energizing to be among women in cybersecurity after YEARS have gone by since my last in-person event.

It made me wonder why I haven't made coming to Hacker Summer Camp a priority until now... oh wait, because I'm usually employed and the company usually says they don't have the budget or capacity to support me attending.

Now I'm the one who doesn't have the budget, but I do have the time. And most importantly, I have all of you. This incredibly supportive community that has rallied to get Hacker in Heels visible in an aligned and impactful way—showcasing the thought leadership of women in our industry.

With how things are going, I'm thinking we might be able to get this thing fully funded before Thursday even gets here.

I'm still taking corporate logo ($500) and name ($200) contributors until 6PM tonight. If you, or someone you know, has a business and wants to get in front of over a thousand women in cybersecurity—make sure they get their contribution in ASAP.

Keep up the great promotion of this cause and encouraging contributions—every contribution of every size is collectively impactful.

Especially all you over on LinkedIn, I see you. Thanks for crushing it.
